Ann Jackman 7/26/1910 – 2/14/2013

Mrs. Ann Jackman, age 102 of Pensacola, Florida, left her loving home, Thursday, February 14, 2013, to be with her family in her heavenly home. She was born in Altus, Arkansas, July 26, 1910. She started playing the organ when she was only three years old. She married her husband, Willis, in Oklahoma, and had one daughter Ina Sue. The family then moved to Pensacola in 1941. She taught sewing classes at Singer Machine Company for 15 years, she continued to play her organ until she was 102. She attended the Innerarity Point Church of Christ with her husband until his passing in 1969. She continued as a faithful member until her passing.

She is survived by one daughter Ina Sue, one grandson, Westly Williams, one granddaughter Wanda Barfield, five great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. Ann was very much loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends at WATERS & HIBBERT FUNERAL HOME from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday February 16, 2013; services will be 12:00 p.m. till 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Bayview Memorial Park. A reception will follow at Innerarity Point Church of Christ. Pallbearers will be Tom Williams, Doug Murray, Nate Edwards, Frank Defranceschi, and Marty Dobbins. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Francisco, John John Godwin, John Paul Simon, and Chris Phillips.

Officiating will be, Ministers Larry Watkins, Andy Cates, and Perry Phillips.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks for the loving care of her favorite doctor, Dr. Ross Robins, the love of a special great niece, Kathy Lauer, who was by her side during her final days and Connie Boyette who kept everything going.
